Hey guys, I've been having a problem now for as long as I can remember (2+ years or so) and it has to do with my internet. I have Comcast high speed internet and when i'm not downloading anything, it runs rather smoothly. The problem, however, comes when i'm downloading something, even the smallest of files, through a bit torrent client or something like that.
Whenever I'm downloading, my internet basically becomes unusable, even when i shut down the bit torrnet client, the internet is STILL unusable. I have to recycle my cable modem and router in order to get the internet back up. It's not like i'm doing HEAVY downloading either, maybe just like 30 KB for ONE torrent file.
This problem has confused me for the last 2 years and I've simply put up with it, but i know it's not supposed to be like this. It's really aggravating me now that i can't download anything and surf the web at the same time.
I have an athlon 64 3000+ 1 gb ram and i run windows XP MCE.
