The Social Security office needs spanish speaking people?

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna post in P&N about that.

Why? While there are ways of dealing with people who don't speak English (well), such as people bringing in friends/family to translate, it's more convenient to have bilingual employees.

That being said, I noticed there's more SSA IT positions available.

sampling of Appsw positions:
IT Specialist (APPSW)
IT Specialist (APPSW)
IT Specialist (APPSW)
IT Specialist (APPSW)

IT Specialist

IT Specialist - OS

IT Specialist (Sysana); GS-7
IT Specialist (Sysana); GS-9
IT Specialist (Sysana); GS-11

and also a legal position: Legal Assistant - Case Technician

If you know Data Center, UC, EMC, VMWare, Cisco (not all inclusive) and you can talk to what you have certs for, look into Presidio.com.

They are hiring in many parts of the country.

The company I work for is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. We are a small OEM looking to expand our line of products so we need some horse power. Location: North of Green Bay Wisconsin. Actually in the UP. Let me know if you have some interest and I'll get you in touch with the right person.

Oh and my old company is looking to fill the spot I left. It's a Controls Engineer position - exact position/title and salary depends on experience. This job is located in Des Moines Iowa.

What's a good job to get back into the 40-50k market for someone that has a 4 year MIS degree, was a programmer in the past, but took a 10 year leave of absence to do mostly hobby work (retail)? They do not want to go back into programming.

They do know Japanese fluently.

I'm looking for a summer internship around the Longmont/Boulder, CO area. Just finishing my freshmen year of EE, but I know Verilog and C.

Anyone know of anything for me?

you know verilog...as a freshman...so tell me, have you actually done anything with it? if you really do know it, you should have no issue getting one. It raises a red flag, but also it raises curiosity. So, for me at least, I'd bring you in for an interview.

Right now I only have a basic knowledge, the most complex thing I've made is a BCD counter. By the end of the school year I should have a better understanding of it though. Hopefully I can use that to my advantage when looking for internships.

Anything out there for someone with only an A+ cert? Looking to further my education asap.

Currently I'm doing IT work for a local real estate appraisal company. I work with InRule and GrapeCity Report Designer. Familiar with ActiveDirectory, server 2003/2008, and of course setting up systems. I primarily work with form development currently but would like to find maybe a jr. sys admin position? I live in Portage, IN but could travel as far as Chicago.

My company is opening up 11 Field Service Engineer positions in the Western United States major metro areas. I currently work in the Seattle district, so it is the only city of which I'm certain at this point, and I know that my District Manager is pushing to get this requisition filled quickly.

The company is a major manufacturer of hospital laboratory machines for Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology and Coagulation analysis. The job of the Field Service Engineer is to maintain and repair those instruments at customer sites. Helpful background would be electronics, clinical laboratory benchwork, mechanical engineering, etc... A clean driving record is also important.

This the job that I have, and I love it. The demands can sometimes be intense, but the pay is great and the perks are incredible. I work out of my house, and simply drive around to customers sites as I'm dispatched to perform repairs or maintenance tasks.

If you're interested in finding out more, please PM me. I'll be happy to deliver resumes to my manager (there's a nice little bonus in it for me if you get hired ).

We have at least one, maybe two positions open for Field Service Engineers (FSE) in the Seattle area at the moment. If you are good with tools and technology, good with people, and have a clean diving record, you could be very eligible.

PM me for more details.

EDIT: Just checked out Corporate jobs page on our website. It lists FSE positions open in Nebraska, Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, and 2 in Florida. The Seattle position is not listed yet.

My company has more tech support positions available. It is a small company supporting proprietary applications that depend on a number of different IT components, so you should have a solid understanding of (but do not need specific years experience in): AV components, networking, windows desktop and server operating systems, desktop and server hardware, and databases. 2 year degree required, 4 year degree desirable. It's in Washington, DC, around Dupont Circle. PM me if you are interested.

I am looking for tech consulting type work. I have "consulted" on many network and PC builds over the years. As a result I have a lot of experience working with customers, selling them on different hardware and working with them to implement solutions to fit their budget and needs. I also have a knack for boiling down technical ideas into language that non-engineering types can understand. I do honestly believe I am a good fit for this kind of work and am looking for options in that area.

Drop me a PM if you or your company have positions like this available. I'm willing to move anywhere in the US for a solid job.

I'm wrapping up at columbia university as a post-doc in chemistry. My Ph. D. is in organic synthesis/organometallics and my post-doc research has been in natural products synthesis and polymer/materials/organic solar cells.

Anyone know someone who needs a good chemist?
