Hello all,

If you or anyone you know is looking for a part time network admin job in the Chicagoland area, please let me know. Must be proficient in the following

Server 2K3
Active Directory
DNS/TCP/IP/WINS
Basic Networking

It's a simple enough job for people who have any decent Server experience. Its an hourly part time thing, must have a vehicle. I know it may not be the best, but at least someone can make something on the side.

Thanks

Hey guys. I'm considering moving to San Diego and therefore I'm looking to see what is available job-wise.

I recently competed my Networking Specialist and Microcomputer Specialist degrees and I have had CompTIA A+ Certification since 1999 and have maintained up-to-date knowledge. I'm looking for job opportunites or general advice on where to look in San Diego. Thanks!

I'm a little late asking this because I've already flown out here on a very short explarotory trip and I need to start looking in the morning, but where should I start?

Hello all, as you can tell from my previous threads, I used to work for IT staffing, but no longer. So basically at my new place of employment, we are looking for someone to work part time brushing up and optimizing web sites that we currently have running. We also need this person to do standard server maintance, such as back ups, and virus scans.

Below is the actual job description I am posting. It is located in Chicago. I am not a recruiter, this is for someone to work at our office. Hours are flexible and pay would be determined based on your experience and the interview.
---------------------------

This is a part time position located in Chicago. Please only local candidates. Hours are flexible.
We are currently looking for someone who has solid experience working with developing and publishing websites. Previous HTML experience is a must, and experience working with web site development software such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage. A qualified candidate should be comfortable opening up a current website and adding content. This individual must have good communication skills and be able to think outside the box.
We also need this individual to back up, and check our servers on a regular basis. A qualified candidate should also understand Windows XP and basic networking skills. Any other computer experience is a plus.

Looking for Entry level position in Southeastern, MI

60% chance willing to relocate my family out of state, based on benefits, housing and salary.

I have 14 years of computer related experience from building, repair, diagnostics, customer service, small company networks, minimal network security. I'm currently self studying to take my 70-291, 70-293, and 70-294 exams, I'm also going to pursue an MCP for XP, network+, as well as security+. My main experience would be an A+ related but looking to branch out to support my family more.

I am looking for a company that would allow me to start off in an entry level position, and be willing to let me learn and grow within the companies internal IT structure. I am a very hands on person and learn faster as such. I am a hard working employee which you will see on my resume. I have always moved forward within a company bettering myself to be an asset for the company.

Please ask for a resume if you are interested. Can start immediately...

Fresno, CA:

A+, MCP passed for Windows 2000 Server...

Currently trying to finish up AAS for Network Administration but work failures and no car make it hard.

My last job was for 9 months on telephone tech support. This was 6 months ago.

I originally signed on full time, then health, class scheduling, and bus late/bus bike rack full problems eventually got me fired.

I still get peeved thinking about it because when I first started having conflicts,
the unit manager I had at the time worked with me and we changed my schedule to come in later/get off earlier.
Everything was fine from then on.

Then they switched me around to two different accounts over the next few months, changing my unit manager and schedule again.

Two submittals of schedule change basically went ignored.

I told them in a second warning meeting that the first manager did this for me, when they surprised me after I was on the job for 2 hours with a, 'we are terminating you', I told them again this is what we had set up from the first few months, and they wouldn't hear it.

Does anyone know which of the big job websites do big companies use regularly? Particularly interested in the big VLSI firms IBM, AMD, Broadcom, etc.
Right now I just have my resume on Monster, and I am getting emails from Intel and some others, so I know they are using it. Is it worth also replicating it on Careerbuilder, Dice, etc, or will it be the same people looking at them?

I saw that IBM is hiring for entry-level developers of all sorts in Endicott, NY last week. Looks like a large hiring push for them. If I didn't just get a new job last month I would have applied myself. Hope this helps!

Hey Guys, I work over at the University of Maine. It's the main campus, in Orono, Maine.

My boss may have some interest in a developer. Preferably Desktop Applications, but web applications (desktop replacement web applications preferably) would be great.

If you'd like me to pass your name along, see if I can get anything your way, just let me know.

I'm looking for an entry-level position in Human Resources/Management with an established firm, preferrably near the southern California coast. I have a B.S. in Business Admin. and 7+ years of work experience primarily in customer service, sales, management, and student leadership positions.

I really want to get into HR as a career and am willing to learn from the ground up. I will also consider positions in northern California as long as the area is nice, low in crime, and a good place to raise children.

Feel free to PM me for any additional info. Thanks in advance.
