JOB DESCRIPTION
The Grants Management Administrator ensures the integrity of the data management of the Foundation?s grants and provides accurate and efficient reporting of grant-related data to all stakeholders. Duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring data integrity and quality assurance of the grants management database; producing standard and customized reports and statistical analysis on grants-related data to internal and external stakeholders; creating and maintaining templates, forms and documents in the grants management database; administering user aspects of the grants management database, i.e., assigns user rights, creates/maintains coding tables, user-defined fields and customized data tabs; providing orientation, training and support to internal users of the grants management database; administering certain standard grantmaking processes and quality control and providing back-up support for other grants management functions; maintaining grantee portion of Foundation mailing list in the grants management database; interfacing with Information Systems team on technical aspects of the grants management database; and special projects and other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience and skill set.
? 3 years of data management and administration within a relational database system; some exposure to grants administration is highly desirable.
? Solid understanding of complex data management.
? Strong logic, analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills.
? High attention to detail, accuracy and protocol within a structured environment.
? Ability to focus on and organize detailed information.
? Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and training skills.
? Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines and respond appropriately to management and staff requests.
? Ability to work independently and within a team.
? Understanding of relational databases and SQL queries; Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Crystal Reports, and InDesign; MicroEdge Gifts experience.
