Hey All,

I just lost my job, and I'm looking to find an EE internship or junior level position in the los angeles area. If anyone works for raytheon, northrop, lockheed, boeing, etc and could refer me that'll be great. I think there's a referral bonus involved for all the defense companies too. Please pm me if there are any questions. Thanks!

Oops forgot to put my email: hmughal@gmail.com

My company is opening up 11 Field Service Engineer positions in the Western United States major metro areas. I currently work in the Seattle district, so it is the only city of which I'm certain at this point, and I know that my District Manager is pushing to get this requisition filled quickly.

The company is a major manufacturer of hospital laboratory machines for Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology and Coagulation analysis. The job of the Field Service Engineer is to maintain and repair those instruments at customer sites. Helpful background would be electronics, clinical laboratory benchwork, mechanical engineering, etc... A clean driving record is also important.

This the job that I have, and I love it. The demands can sometimes be intense, but the pay is great and the perks are incredible. I work out of my house, and simply drive around to customers sites as I'm dispatched to perform repairs or maintenance tasks.

If you're interested in finding out more, please PM me. I'll be happy to deliver resumes to my manager (there's a nice little bonus in it for me if you get hired ).

I need 11+ people for phone support jobs in Indianapolis. Hit me up if interested. This job does not require ticketing experience but if you have non profit experience it will be a huge plus.

Excellent pay
Full benefits, the works

I just want to say, out of the 20+ jobs I've thrown out here, I haven't received any interest. I can't give good paying jobs away. It has become ridiculous; I thought people were out of work but that is apparently not the case.

I understand it is Indianapolis, but we get 100,000+ resumes a year. Going through me skips the line and you will at least get a phone interview.

Just a note, there are more jobs available than just Info Tech.

http://www.deltajobs.net/

Click the Search All Jobs link in the menu bar. There are some non-tech, kind of dirty jobs, and some "Part time" (Ready Reserve) jobs. And they are all over and some in other countries.

I need a software QA tester in the Bridgeport, CT area with UNIX and SQL experience.

Even with the economy supposedly as bad as it is, I still can't find decent software testers around here!

I'm with you. I haven't been able to fill 20 plus open reqs. Damn good jobs with great salaries, full benefits and job security. I've even hit regional colleges trying to recruit with little luck. This thread might as well be closed, as it appears no one needs a job nowadays.

I'm looking - more casual/passive, but have my eyes open, based on geography, not so much the job itself. I have a business degree, focus on quantitative economics, 6 years in IT, 3 with a Fortune 500, 2 with a top tier consultancy, and am now doing IT investment review with a large federal agency. I can write run-on sentences like the one prior. I also have a law degree and am licensed. Anyone looking to hire in San Diego or Southern NH?

Strange, I know, but those are our favorite places. I love my work now, but would love it even more to be in a place more conducive to raising a family. Sounds picky, I know, but we're in no rush.

I think the problem is that it is hit or miss whether there is anyone here looking for a particular job. I am a librarian of sorts. Even within this very narrow field there are probably about 30-50 different types of librarians. Then you add in the different experience ranges needed, language skills, experience, etc.

Heck, I could post some jobs for metallurgists and chemists, but again...

All that said, I think this does serve a valuable purpose. Sure, the odds are against someone from AT applying for a given posting here, but in those cases where they do get a job from here it can be invaluable.
