hey all, I'm having a heck of a time trying to get my server computer (running Win2k) and my client laptop (running Win XP home) to see one another. My setup has the server (which carries the 'net connection) broadcasting a wireless signal throughout my apt. via a Linksys WAP 11 access point. The laptop is seeing the signal and even "connects" to the network but beyond that the two computers refuse to see one another. The access point is reporting sending packets as is the WiFi card in the laptop, but neither reports packets as being received. I've gone over the networking options what seems like a million times and I've got it nice and simple, logon for MS networks, TCP/IP, and FileSharing. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.
