Yeah, I went on a trip to Fermilab with my college's Math and Physics clubs and they talked about that to us, it was really cool. Also, I was actually right next to the detector, as we visited and went into the Soudan mine on a trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area a few years before that. It's cool to know that I've been to both ends of a great physics project.
The more I learn about this project the more I love it. At first when this was just a tiny bunch of us doing this I was intrigued by the science but that quickly turned to a stats quest - right DanC? But the more I read and hear about what may actually come from this project(although most flies right over my head) it cements my interest in it.
