Serra Club and the EPA also use "tag team" litigation tactics. They are all in collusion with each other. The eco-KOOK 501c3 orgs are willing accomplices in the Federal attack against private land owners.

These people were practicing open range cattle ranching before the BLM existed. They were practicing it before grazing fees were invented. Which, BTW, were done on the promise of helping the ranchers with their cattle operations (boy has that done a 180). Some were likely doing it before the US claimed control of those territories. Now, they're all gone in that area, except this one family.

It appears to me that each step along the way the US govt promised to help these people and their ranching operations. But in the early 1990's the govt unilaterally changed it's mind and decided to stomp them out of business. That wasn't part of the 'bargain'.

This is why many fear the phrase "Hi, we're from the government and we're here to help".

Apparently in exchange for statehood the US govt claimed ownership with the understanding that they could continue open range cattle ranching. This went on for more than a 100 years.

Recently the federal govt just changed its mind and began kicking these people out.

I'm not talking about "white privilege" here. Grazing preferences are inheritable. If your parent had a federal grazing lease then you would be allowed to take over that lease for life simply because you were born to your parents. No competition, no bidding, no fair market action, you just get the lease. Basically ranchers get no-competition federal contracts based solely on birth. Grazing leases open the door to additional handouts so the financial benefits being bestowed by the government upon ranching families on no other basis than birth is enormous. The flip side is that folks not born into this privileged class who might want to obtain a federal grazing lease are out of luck unless one of the privileged ones decides to sell the lease. That's right, lessees get to sell government leases for private profit. The system is completely corrupt and un-American.
