I actually think there is value in someone speaking with passion about something, and trying to inform others. Personally I am not convinced that Alex Jones believes his own BS, and I certainly don't believe it, but I am open to someone trying to convince me.

As a digression, I think people on both sides of the issue of conspiracy theories (i.e., people who think everything is a conspiracy and people who refuse to question the party line in any situation) share a certain quasi-religious level of faith in their views. Most of us, myself included, are somewhere in the middle, but it appears that Stewox is on the extreme end of this spectrum.

Well put on both points!

That's all anyone would appreciate,

That said, to clear the rest out, no there's no religious background behind this, maybe it's spiritual and moral, preserving the species, or preserving freedom, that's where "conservative" term comes from, but we don't use it as it has been twisted, many different meanings to different groups, some groups throw many different groups under that same banner.

And also, I might be on the extreme end, on your scale, but on the scale I am aware of, I can tell you I am nowhere near the extreme other people are out there, and that does not mean "extreme" as violent, it means as the belief. And I use this word because of a lack of word, it's not a religious belief, it's not dogma, the core is supported by facts, most of it is decoded from connecting dots and with conditional evidence, like solving a very long math formula on top of a rooftop with rainfall and storms (fake leaks, disinformation, persecution, threats), something is educated guess and is indicated, never spoken as fact (maybe, or, probably), the rest is speculation and opinion using the gathered information in the best sense possible, and that opinion is always indicated to be opinion, never spoken as fact.

I will reply to that thing on the other page, but I have some other work to do first.

There was almost 200 years of legal precedent that held the 2nd Amendment as a collective right not an individual.
-snip-

Nope.

You'll need to verify that.

The collective right had legal precedent but the individual right had never been directly ruled upon. I.e., there was no precedent against it.

It's your ignorance that they are exploiting and they really love it.

Oh yeah, with sugar, spice, and everything nice, I could make a 50-story building go puff, here is my super duper secret juice:

Speaking of Timothy McVeigh, a patsy, .....snip.. as I mentioned in a previous wall of text, you guys are a dwindling minority, they are losing the infowar, truth is spreading, awareness is rising, and they admit it http://youtu.be/OBifhsX9_Ys?t=50s

So not are you only buying all this guy's bullshit, you are literally putting it your mouth and swallowing.

I have neither the time or patience to even touch this, other than to say this level of obsession can't be mentally healthy.

You can go on about being some hero bringing light and truth to the masses, but you are missing that you are a commodity to this whole right wing nuttery industry. Spending all the time on the sites, all the clicks, buying the books, powders and pills, survival seeds, gold coins and whatever bullshit they sell.

Glenn Beck is a sellout, or is he just a competing brand of batshit alternate reality that your brand of bizzaro is trashing? The money flowing out of you fools is astonishing, no surprise there are fights for time at the spigot.

Yeah, that's what you do.

And because it's such a long math formula, in such a pain in the ass conditions, many people give up somewhere in the process, the longer you endure the better, while some only look at it and don't even try.

However, the formula doesn't ends abruptly, but there is a breakthrough point at which, when you get past that, you would learned most of the process and you won't have to quit as you are doing the last finishing touches, so at the end of it, a giant formula, all the splines come together, you're getting out results and combining it, shrinking it closer to the final result that's still quite some way away but it's getting easier and you can see the light in the tunnel, endurance is key.

EDIT:

Oh the beginnings, historical treasure:

Saw that, was brilliant.

Best part was the comment on how the guy is riding around waving the american flag while saying the federal govt doesn't exist in his opinion.

,.. unless it pushes for and supports his opinions.

Or, at the very least, enforces the opposition of the opinions of the people he does not like.

Loved it. Was trying to get a screen grab of that image when I posted it. You just can't make this stuff up.

Update: MSNBC pulls out last resort. Attacks Alex Jones and Drudge Report, 2 of which have been dominating the bundy ranch news on internet.

MSNBC receives bailout money, direction from mediamatters a whitehouse organization, as well supported by SPLC, a mass defamation & disinformation group run by former congressman representing the establishment, supportive of torture and unfounded preemptive war.

Credibility of these attacked by MSNBC is supported by this: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journa...cize-News-Three-Years-Before-Drudge-Bombshell

THE INTERNET: The internet has become one of the major and
most dynamic modes of communication. The internet can link
people, groups and organizations together instantly.
Moreover, it allows an extraordinary amount of unregulated
data and information to be located in one area and available
to all. The right wing has seized upon the internet as a
means of communicating its ideas to people. Moreover,
evidence exists that Republican staffers surf the internet,
interacting with extremists in order to exchange ideas and
information.
The Clinton Administration already in 1995 was worried that they will lose control of the press, and ofcourse, they paint the truthers as "extremists", same thing Harry Reid is saying about Bundy supporters now. WAKE UP!

So I'm supposed to read an Infowars article complaining about the fact that MSNBC made fun of Infowars? Brother, life is too short. (Not to mention that MSNBC is right about Infowars being an aggregator for paranoia and silly conspiracy theories.)

I like how we keep proving Infowars insanity wrong and he keeps posting it. That's the biggest problem with trying to help out crazy, you can't convince them of just how crazy they are. And I'm no therapist.

Edit: And having now read that crazy ass Infowars article I must say that it is one of the worst articles I've ever read. It's poorly written, filled with crazy as fuck conspiracy theories, ignores tons of information to push its agenda. It's like a 8th grader wrote a review of a movie he hates.

That is the average educational level of an Alex Jones follower. It's almost like Alex Jones is the L Ron Hubbard for ignorant white trash...

It's a war you have no idea about, unfortunately. My message to you is, that I am not your enemy, and I know for a fact that your masters are exploiting and duping you, they will use you only as long as they need you for their personal interest that they do not share with you, they offer you false promises, the future they are talking about is only for them, not for you, as you are a tool for them, an animal used for their goals and eventually to a long-term agenda envisioned centuries ago.

Now, your job, if you consider your self a constructive person, is to find out if that is true or not, it is up to you to find a scientific bias-less approach of researching and gathering information, if you are unable/unwilling to do so, it is unfortunately only your problem, whatever you say against me during that process will change nothing for me, that I know for a fact. So there is a way to control your own life, and hopefully your own destiny, but it takes a lot of work on your side, even tho, there are many prepared to help you and make that easier.

If you dismiss this warning, it may cost you everything, you will not realize this until the moment when it's too late, or maybe never, being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, because information is power.

You are apparently buying anti-flouride pills from Alex Jones. If you're worried about people tricking and exploiting you, I'd start there.

Consider for a moment that you're not actually a special snowflake, a brave martyr against the ignorant sheep, but instead maybe, just maybe, you're the one who's incorrect. I know that's not as much fun as being the special, misunderstood one, but there really are a lot of very smart people in the world who are also very knowledgeable, and they pretty much all agree that infowars is full of shit. They just might actually be right.

Then consider that it really does sound like you could use some help from a qualified mental health professional. That's nothing to be ashamed of, lots and lots of good people have mental health issues, just like lots and lots of people get broken arms or blown rotator cuffs or any other health problem. Letting it go untreated is just as foolish as letting an infection fester, but there really have been a lot of advances in psychiatry in the past 15-20 years, and you might be able to get real help.

This is the type of shit that makes the normal of us worry about people like you. Phrases like this is why you get the Timothy McVeigh comparisons. Alex Jones is a crazy person, or at the very least a manipulative one making himself rich off crazy people. And your worship of him is very dangerous and detrimental to your mental health.

Well, that's your opinion, and you also have a right to shove it up your behind.

According to your royal highness, that would mean that Lt. Col. William Barrett Travis was also crazy?

http://texasheritagesociety.org/The-Travis-Letter-Victory-or-Death-.html

The Travis Letter
Commandancy of the The Alamo

Bejar, Feby. 24th. 1836
To the People of Texas & All Americans in the World—
Fellow Citizens & compatriots—
I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna — I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man — The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken — I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls — I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch — The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country — Victory or Death.
William Barrett Travis.
Lt. Col. comdt.
P. S. The Lord is on our side — When the enemy appeared in sight we had not three bushels of corn — We have since found in deserted houses 80 or 90 bushels and got into the walls 20 or 30 head of Beeves.

Thanks everyone in participating and learning something new.

So that's about it, unless some big new bundy news comes up, in the meantime, enjoy my gift, the latest edition of a well known magazine I'm sure you're all familiar about:
