Probably to counter provocators. It's a war on the ground, and a war in cyberspace. Gawker is a well known establishment stooge. They use these small things and spin them, it's all about making sure the globalists stay in power. Same thing with the racial stuff, ofcourse it's all made up, I knew it was BS the second I saw it, they were waiting for stuff like this, so now they can support new spin stories with the last one, banking on the possibility their readers won't go do their own research, they bet on stupidity, they got the score they wanted, still, it works on less and less people, as more and more wake up. Because the bigger issue is BLM, and all the other points sorrounding that, everything pretty much still holds and the mainstream media is basically defeated, they can't counter the core, but they won't admit the truth either, all they have is the race and spin card, they just wait for something they can spin, reporting only what they can spin, that's key in these trendy ass blogger sites.

That said, things are going to calm down around here because im going away for a few day, I'm sure some people will be estatic to hear this news.

Are you high? Bundy made the racial comments on video, and repeated them when he tried to "clarify" them to a friendly reporter. Even Sean Hannity has condemned them. Whether or not the armed checkpoint thing is true, it's not a Gawker invention - a United States congressman wrote a letter to the Clark County Sheriff complaining about it - http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/apr/28/sheriff-urged-clamp-down-armed-militiamen-around-b/

I hope by "going away for a few days," you mean "being civilly committed for a 72-hour observation hold." You're nuttier than squirrel poop.

I actually just for real hope you're getting some professional help. There's no shame in it, and it could do you a lot of good. Sincerely, please do consider it, lots and lots of people have their lives improved by medication to help them filter a little better.

It's fun yelling at people who are wrong on the Internet, that's the whole basis of this forum, but it's just depressing when it's a genuinely mentally ill person.

Was this the Fed's plan all along?
The armed anti-government play-warriors who built a military force around a racist redneck rancher in Nevada have split into rival factions and are now at the brink of civil war, calling each other crazies and traitors and spreading rumors that Eric Holder planned a drone strike on them.

For nearly a month, organized groups of militiamen as well as gun-toting "independents" have descended on Bunkerville, Nevada, ostensibly to protect Cliven Bundy, the curmudgeon cattleman who grazed his cattle on federal land, owed feds more than a million in fees, and famously shared his opinions on "Negroes" with America.

So much more deliciousness here.
Edit:And more.

The sheer weapons grade crazy that this has revealed is simultaneously hilarious, scary, and sad.

As a friend pointed out to me: Back in 2000 when he owned an AR15, he could show up to a fight with the AR15 and it was a trump card; he won the fight because the AR15 was not common at that point.

These days, an AR15 is the entry ticket, without it you'd be considered woefully underpowered.

I think the only reason I don't want this to erupt is because it'd mean more people pushing for gun control (and gun control that's incredibly stupid, barely enforceable and accomplishes NOTHING - just like every bit of gun control we've seen pushed since 2012) - otherwise, I don't care if the militia or BLM get massacred.

And then people wonder why police forces see a need to more heavily armed and equipped.

How often does this happen though? There is no reason for them to be more armed but keep supporting giving them more power and the erosion of civil liberties. Militarizing the police is a bad idea.

Back in the 30's, during the depression and Bonnie & Clyde days and their robbery of armories (for the BAR, for example), the police and feds quickly realized that they were heavily outgunned by the bad guys. The same applies today. With easy access to powerful weapons, criminals are much better equipped than in the old days. Thus law enforcement feels that they need to do the same thing as they did back then.

I'm a Second Amendment supporter but not for the free-for-all that too many idiots support today. You want easy access to powerful weapons? Then expect law enforcement to up the ante because they are in it to win it.

I find these new developments surprising. Who could have predicted that a bunch of extreme conservatives united against a common enemy would succumb to infighting once the common enemy was no longer in the picture? It's not like there are 17 peer-reviewed studies that all say that conservatives when not facing an external threat will begin to seek out internal threats because that is how their brains are wired.

Doesnt sound to me like Bundy has a leg to stand on!, its not his land whether or not his family have raised cattle on it for thousands of years....that doesnt give him any rights over anyone else!...

Didn't you just disprove your own point?

-The AWB made assault rifles rare
-lifting it proliferated the numbers and lethality of weapons
-so much that std issue military hardware is inadequate for law enforcement.
=> o_0

Would these yahoos been able to chase off LEOs and SWAT teams back in the AWB days?
