I find these new developments surprising. Who could have predicted that a bunch of extreme conservatives united against a common enemy would succumb to infighting once the common enemy was no longer in the picture? It's not like there are 17 peer-reviewed studies that all say that conservatives when not facing an external threat will begin to seek out internal threats because that is how their brains are wired.

1. Welfare rancher stops paying his fees for grazing cattle on Federal land.
2. Rancher loses several lawsuits over 20 years
3. Rancher continues to trespass on Federal land and steal from the US Taxpayer
4. Court eventually allows the government to use any means necessary to keep Bundy from trespassing.
5. Bundy gets his knickers in a twist and calls in his militia buddies to threaten law enforcement legally executing a court order.

You're the one with the delusions. I'd be afraid you'd be turning into the next Stewox and should seek professional help now, but based on your posting history, I'd say you're not crazy, you're just an ignorant racist.

The Bundy fundie "patriots" crawled out from under whatever hide they were in and are out and about, and the FBI are taking names and pictures of every one of them.

The Repub politicians who exploited Bundy's notoriety for God, Country and personal political gain have already skittered and crawled and slithered away from him like he's some kind of Tea Party whacko gone full-on Democrat.

This storyline keeps getting funnier and funnier all the time. Bundy should get with Rush Limbaugh and have all of this "misunnerstand'in" of his patriotism and red blooded frontier-style Americanism fully fleshed out.

You really should read up on the role of black americans in the west and as cowboys. They found much more equity out west than in the north or south, and found that they could rise in society based on their hard work. I am talking about men like Bose Ikard or Daniel Webster Wallace.

Incidentally, both made their mark in Texas as Cowboys and Ranchers at a time when that would not have happened in the North or South. The West offered freedom and opportunity.

But educating yourself on blacks and western history just doesn't fit you and your type of narrative, does it? It's so much easier to believe anyone that wears a cowboy hat, loves western culture, .etc is a racist, right?

Do you think that if a black urban family had received so many thousands of dollars over decades and when the government tried to stop them called many armed supporters to enforce their welfare that people would treat it the same?

Go out side and meet lot's of people and get to know them

I will answer in honesty in hopes that you will reply to my #1914 post.

No, I don't think people would treat it exactly the same way and I readily admit I don't know many of the details in this case. But in what manner and condition did the black family receive the money?

However, I also think much time is wasted on people trying to create gotcha moments by posing fictitious scenarios and by not giving the correct answer they somehow make a grand point and expose that person as intellectually dishonest. In almost every case, there are too many details, different applicable laws, .etc that make simply switching the race and type of environment a fools errand and only serves to pat oneself on the back and receive pats from fellow partisans.
