Could be that the camera lens is closer to his upper body than his legs. Those calves might be bigger than they look because they are farther away from the lens. Imagine them 20% larger.

I've seen people like this who have severe polyneuropathy or other neurodegenerative conditions/damage like spinal cord injury.

Looks insane.

A guy I knew from school had an illness as a kid and has very little calf muscles on one of his legs.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I don't mean to call him out if it's an injury or medical condition, but I don't think I'd have guts to change my proportions that much if so. If that's the case, hats off to him for trying! He's in better shape than I'll ever be

No worries. I know you weren't trying to do that. Good for him for continuing his workout regimen. It just makes his proportions interesting.

I think he was also asking what Pulls means.

IIRC, those are clean pull and snatch pull and are the portions of the lifts during which the bar is pulled upward but before the body is pulled under the bar.

His upper body gives the illusion of size.... No doubt he's in shape, lean and has muscle, but he isn't that 'big'.... All smoke and mirrors with the help of Hollywood magic. His legs look in proportion to me.

I just got done training legs
5 sets trap bar. Worked up to 405 x 10.
Supersetted rack pulls with traditional hack squats. 200-225 range for 4 sets of each
Upper landing on the sled for 5 sets of 15. Think I did 16 plates
Single leg extensions followed by single leg curls for sets of 12. Think I did 5 on each.

Worked hard, didn't move a lot of weight, but for a guy like me with chicken legs, you have to start somewhere
