The extra 20 GB hard drive upgrade only costs $50. You're basically paying an extra $150 for the black paint job
Sheesh... And people wonder why Apple only has 5% marketshare of the computer market.

warcraft 3 frozen throne? it would probably play that just fine. But with newer games, that Dell notebook u listed with the x1400, would perform MUCH better than the macbook!
and its cheaper too,
so i'd go with the dell. actually better yet, go with an IBM.
I doubt Parallels supports raw disks like VMware does.Originally posted by: Astaroth33
Here's a question that I'll probably have to ask in a different forum (here or elsewhere): Is it possible to have the install of XP that's running under Boot Camp to be accessible via Parallels, all on the same machine?
If so, I can boot into XP to play games or do whatever, while if I am in OSX I can access XP on the fly for whatever app might require Windows.

I thought the new Lenavos sucked compared in quality compared to the older ones. And even I wanted one its out of my $1k price range (with the features similiar to the dell).

It's too bad that you can't get it in black unless you get the $1500 version.
For some reason, black on an Apple product just doesn't seem right to me. Probably the same reason why I have a white iPod.

9.4 x 13.0 x 1.1 in.
Only 0.22 x 0.48 x 0.02" difference because the HP's screen fills the frame.

quarter of an inch, half an inch...that's a LOT in notebook terms...

Just found out from Apple that the 7200rpm drives were not offered because they will NOT fit, not because there's a heat issue. It's simply a size issue. Bummer! Hope someone finds a fast drive that fits
