Yeah. Not bad considering the price, and the fact that it includes the optical drive, battery, and integrated iSight webcam.Originally posted by: mshan

Yeah, the graphics are the only thing from making me from buying the Macbook. Black and White are the same price, its just they made the Black with higher specs on default (tho the white can be customized the same way). I want a Mac Laptop for college, and use Boot Camp for WinXP.
I love they added iSight/Front Row, Line-in Audio, Dual-Channel memory, Kept Firewire, and made the screen 13". 120GB SATA Hard Drive (all storage drives seem to be 5200rpm sata), but Still no backlight keys, but thats fine with me.
Id totally get 2GB of Ram, but from Newegg or something (2GB DDR2 667 SDRAM is $160 from newegg, compared to Apple @ $400). Just the video concerns me... I dont think I can spare another $800 for a Macbook Pro...
Nope. The Black still costs a lot more, even if you configure the white the exact same way.Originally posted by: OmniShinzui

Nice! Two points on Apple's site:
-no 7200rpm hard drive (heat issues maybe?)
-no mention of battery life (probably poor, like 3 hours or so based on comparable PC laptops)

Ah, you have eagle eyes! However:
Work Longer Unplugged
MacBook offers up to 6 hours of battery life. (Up to 2.5 hours of DVD playback, and up to 3.5 hours with wireless turned on.) Here?s how to squeeze out every last second of battery power when you need it, though of course battery life depends on configuration and use.
Also, I hate running the display at anything less than max or near-max brightness; this is one of the reasons I never got a PowerBook or iBook.
