Question new 4k monitor S32B800PXW lagging

samsung monitor 32 inches 4k 60hz is lagging if i maximize minimize etc. in windows animations and transitions but monitor is running at 60hz. What to do?

Check to see if you can switch the color profile of the monitor in its OSD settings to something like Adobe RGB or DCI-P3 or sRGB.

Or try to download the profile for your monitor from the Samsung website and load it up in the Windows display settings.

Not sure if that will help. Your monitor doesn't support AdobeRGB colorspace.

Choose the sRGB mode and see how the colors look.

You shouldn't really need an expensive color calibrator since your monitor is supposed to be factory calibrated.

No. I meant that you are using Adobe applications and AdobeRGB would make more sense for them but your monitor doesn't support that so what's the point? If your monitor is factory calibrated, I don't think you will be able to do better than them. Don't waste money if you have never used a calibrator before. You need to know what you are doing. If you can take your monitor to some professional calibrator, that would be a better idea.

looks like colors on this screen already pop and are accurate than my samsun 2233sw tn model of 2009? Looks like i am new to accurate colors

Make sure your screens refresh rate is set to 60 Hz in windows.

Sometimes it defaults to 30 Hz, and yea, that is laggy.

If it’s a color critical monitor for work I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s sluggish. It’s not designed to be fast it has strengths elsewhere.

But there is some dark area around edges which is clearly visible in everycolor monitor displays
