I tried checking out with stuff in the basket and it works with the coupon code. As soon as I saw the code at slickdeals .net I shared it with you tech freaks first. As far as I know this is a new coupon because I checked at tech bargains and did a search here before posting it.

Now I just need to figured out what to get.

if you are not a member of the seattle chamber of commerce and you attempt to use the coupon it is FRAUD. just beware if you are planning on using this coupon. if you do a search there was a couple of threads with this exact same coupon from seattle businees chamber of commerce and they were all locked because this coupon is only for members of the seattle chamber of commerce...much like the other one that was only for members of the American Marketing Association.

I don't know. I've heard of people calling Onvia before and telling them that while, technically, they didn't qualify to use it, they would like to.

I've heard Onvia's usually pretty cool about it...

Might be worth a shot...

One of the guys used the coupon with a phone order when it was running around before. He told the CSR he wasn't a member of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and she said " I don't care, what's the coupon number?" If you're honest in telling them on a phone order, I'd let them take the ball from there with no guilt.

I'd be careful about throwing words like fraud around. As far as I know, there is nothing forwardly immoral about typeing in a coupon code. They never say, "are you a member of the seattle chamber of commerce?" Until online stores can clean up their coupon implementation policies, they will continue to be abused. It's not that hard to make a single-use coupon shopping application. With something like this with a definite set of coupon receptors, not using single-use coupons is just asking for trouble. I'd much rather people take advantage of these flaws in the systems of online stores than the stores continue to use their flawed systems and survive by claiming fraud by their users. The last time I saw a misprice or a good deal at a brick&mortar store, I bought the item. Online stores need to realize that their customers will do the same and change their systems to prevent it.

If you are not a member of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and you attempt to use this coupon, you are committing fraud. We do not allow this type of behavior here, plain and simple.

My total was $202.68 originally, even added another item to see if that would help. Still get "invalid recipient"... Any ideas?
