Does anyone know how I would make a Computer Case fan work with a standard wall outlet? If i get the NR1007 i'll need to do some modding to my wall unit it would seem.
PC case fans normally run on 12 volt DC, so you can't just plug it in. You'll need either a transformer or some sort of 12v power supply. You can also buy fans that are similar to PC fans, but run on 120v AC, which may be easier.
Well the receiver should be here tomorrow, very excited about this. I took a part of the wall unite and covered the front with fabric and removed all shelves so it has plenty of room and air inside. I have a 12in x 2in slot in the back that allowed cabling and also bought this antec cooler, http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=NTE= , which has been getting pretty good reviews.
