About frickin' time huh? It's like Christmas!

I've just installed it using Asus update (must have latest version, or AWD Flash 1.09) and it works fine. I did get a "Video Power cable not connected" on 1st boot, but I switched off then on again and it's fine.

I've only noticed there's a few extra memory options so far, but I don't overclock sorry guys so I'll leave the testing up to you.

If you're not also aware, there are new Nvidia NF4 Standalone drivers available (Version 6.53) up on Nvidia's website. These appear to be working a lot better for me, with my Maxtor drive finally working at ATA133.

I just flashed the new BIOS using the Live update utility. You're right they were only on the German server. So far working great. Thanks for the heads-up!

Bump.... Has everyone traded in their non-deluxe's already...?!!

I used autoupdate to update my bios, all worked well, it verified, i rebooted and it booted into the new bios.

However, when i set my settings to 1T with the max memory at ddr400, i got a Bootbios checksum error, no amount of rebooting would cure this error, in the end i had to remove the battery for a while for the default values to load.

I still believe you can flash the Deluxe BIOSes onto the Non-Deluxe board... there are lots of reports of 1006 Final working fine.

can you give the link for this reports? I was told by asus not even to try it

I would like to see these reports too if you could manage to locate them please.

Asus really seems to not support all the A8N boards equally - and the non-deluxe has had very poor support so far IMHO ... this will probably influence the brand of my next board.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I believe mine is still set on 2T and I have no issues. However, why don't you just clear the CMOS next time using the jumper? Would be faster!

EDIT... Typo's... maybe sleep isn't optional afterall...?

Went back into the BIOS and set it to Load Setup Defaults then exited the BIOS.

Updated the 1003s.1002 BIOS using the latest ASUS Live Update.

Went back into the BIOS and set everything as I wanted, including setting the memory command rate to IT.

Rebooted, and everything has been beloved patriot dory so far.
