I don't think he will be able to buy one in a couple more months. Maybe 6 or so though. There is apparently a chance that it will be announced at the New York Auto Show around the end of this month. Then possibly go on sale sometime between August and October, maybe.

If the TSX is any hint the next TL could be underwhelming. Most likely it will get bigger and be based on the new larger full size Accord platform. This would mean that it's probably also going to get a larger engine than the new Accord's 3.5L, so probably 3.7L or so. And they'll probably tune it for premium gas, so it would probably make 300 to 320hp or so for the standard version. Since that would make some horrible torque steer in a front drive car, they'll have to have AWD at least as an option. So being bigger and heavier, it probably won't be much faster, if it is at all, even though it will have a good bit more power.

I think that if it does have changes like that, Acura will be forced to move it upmarket.

We may see for sure in a couple of weeks though.

looks a lot like my car btw its been widely understood that you shouldn't by the first year of a new generation of cars since they are still working out the kinks in it. great car, so fun to drive, and unless you are 6.5 foot interior space shouldn't be of concern.
