Looks like this PR slipped under the radar. I have only seen it at rage3d.

Too bad they didn't add DVI to the AIW 9600XT. That would have made a buyer out of me.

The extra speed is interesting, though. I wonder if clocking AIWs higher than their non-AIW brethren results in more sales, or if people even know they're buying a faster card.

Indeed. Strange that the 9600 all in wonders are the only ones without DVI. The AIW cards before it had DVI, and the ones after it (AIW 9700 and AIW 9800) have DVI. It's a pitty too because the 9600 level cards are in my price range.

Any idea how the 9200 compares to the rest? I seems to be a bit better than an 8500 but not as good as the 9600.

I can live without the FM tuner, but is the AIW 9700 Pro $22 better than the AIW 9600XT?
The AIW 9700 Pro is fitted with the Theater 200 chip... is that worth the extra $22?

Thanks

I would think the 3D alone is worth $22, isn't the normal 9700pro $30-$40 more than the 9600XTs?

Blain do you know much about the Theater 200 chip? Does it provide better video quality than the AIW cards that do not have the Theater 200 chip?

It seems the 9700 AIW line (both the regular AIW 9700 and the Pro version) is the only line to have the Theater 200 chip. Neither the AIW9800 nor the AIW 9600 and lower AIW cards have the Theater 200.

All the AIW 9xxx cards use the Theater 200, as well as the AIW VE based on the 7500 chip. They quit using the older Rage theater with the AIW 8500 cards.

True... I just ran across this Hot Hardware review of the AIW 9800 Pro. The review states that card does have the "Theater 200" chip.
