I don't think you'll have to wait long for nForce 4. A month or two at most.
The 3000+ would save you $200 which you could put towards an LCD monitor.
You could get a 250GB Maxtor HD w/ 16MB cache that would perform just as well as the Raptor and hold three times as much data.
Thermaltake makes terrible HSF's. The Thermalright XP-120 will destroy the heatpipe you were looking at.
Again, OCZ RAM instead of Corsair.
The Thermaltake case is silly. You would be much better served by an Antec case/PSU combo.
The Pioneer 108 is a great choice if that's what you're getting. If you were planning on the 107, get the 108. You might want a DVD reader as well.
If you must buy now, you could go with nForce 3. Asus makes the A8N. The 6800GT is a good choice for an AGP graphics card.
Waiting a month is well worth it IMO. PCI-E is the future. You'll have to replace two critical components if you buy now, unless you plan to just use the system for a few years until it's completely obsolete without ever upgrading the graphics card.
