I'm sure this has nothing to do with why they are desperately trying to pass the bill before the CBO scores it.

Remember when they complained that the ACA was being rushed, wasn't being debated transparently, etc? Lol. In case anyone had even the slightest shred of doubt as to the honesty of conservatives when it came to that this should put an end to it.

Key thing they are all saying is care will available to all. They don't mention how much that care will cost. One estimate I heard was the most expensive plans could be around 12k per month.

Look if you want health insurance you will man up and work for it. No affordable care BS. Health insurance should go to those valuable enough to society to EARN it. Everyone else should get charity care which will be awesome because all the winning is going to trickle down.

Is hypocrisy the only thing they can do right? I see Newt is banging the 'abolish the CBO' drum again. Typical.

Science, history, math, intellectual honesty... this group fails at everything, yet is in power. Baffling.

What I find amusing (infuriating) is that they'll throw in an additional $8B to sway 2-3 reps to vote yes, but they wouldn't cough up the $2.5B last year that was required subsidies under the original legislation. You know, because the Kenyan Mooslim wanted it. Fucking pieces of shit.

And to be clear that $8 billion (over 5 years) is effectively nothing compared to the actual cost of insuring those with pre-existing conditions. For all intents and purposes it might as well be zero.

Apparently many Reps who plan to vote "yes" haven't even seen the bill yet or have the slightest clue of the policy/cost/social implications. This is pure political reflex, they promised repeal and replace so they have to deliver regardless. This bill could give every child under the age of 10 brain cancer and they'd still vote for it.

So they are voting to put their own unhealthy supporters into death pools, but exempting themselves? And they are ramming it through without any analysis or feedback from doctors or patients?
Should go over well for them in 2018.

The fact of the matter is the Repubs wore themselves out flinging shit at each other and after seeing themselves being completely covered in shit, they decided that more shit being flung at them from the Dems, the media and the folks who enjoyed the shit flinging show wasn't going to make them look any worse so they stacked the shit they were covered with into a really nice looking collated pile, stuck a couple of signs on it that read "pretty pretty pile of shit" and "Mission Accomplished", dumped gallons and gallons of Ralph Lauren's finest on it, planted a bed of roses around it (for their loonie base to gaze at) and they're now planning to truck it over to their inbred cousins in the Senate and have them fling all of that shit at the Dems over there.

"Great plan, really good thing we're doing for the people of America, Covers everyone, much better than Obamacare, delivered as promised, yada yada yada now fvck off and leave us alone".

And the CBO score will be out next week. Why the rush? Might be that the new bill is worse than the last one that cut 24M from insurance. As long as we cut Medicare by $800+ Billion everything else is unimportant.

Going to be fun watching constituent outrage after this one. Lots of reps won't be allowed back in their districts.

Reports on Twitter of beer being delivered for the GOP to the capital in anticipation of a celebration to mark their vote to deprive millions of Americans of affordable healthcare. This is a good look for them.

Dude's, if you pay out of pocket, no Hospital will refuse you....

No Hospital will refuse you cash or no cash it's against the law

Are you expecting up front payment for service? I'll tell you now nearly every time they'll either refuse to give you a cost estimate unless it's something completely trivial or give you and estimate for a very broad range like $400-$28k

Interesting to see people toasting their own political graves, haha. If anything like this bill actually ends up being law the GOP is doomed.

It's one of those cases where liberals are trying to save conservatives from themselves. Blue states aren't going to be impacted by this much at all but red states will be devastated.
