will do man, but beware i might stand in 1 spot stareing at the graphics instead of owing u.
u mind if i ask 1 more ? 2 u both. whats the diffrent from a duel core and single core and which one is better.

Dual core is better for multitasking and for programs that are aware of multiple processors. It's like having two CPUs in your computer more or less.

It's going to become more and more common for programs to be aware that dual core machines are out there so it's a good idea to jump on the bandwagon now it seems.

Traditionally single core would be better for gaming at a given pricepoint, but if you have the budget for it, dual core is the way to go now. For someone that does rendering and such it's a really good idea too as those programs are ususally multi-processor friendly.

thank you, will duel cores be much better for future gaming also. and how does it exactly reqgonize which program 2 go 2 which core, and i heard that ram usually is what makes multitasking better without frezzing etc.

Future gaming is going to benefit from dual core too, yeah. I don't know exactly how they divide up processing between two CPUs, but the important part is that it works

A lot of the newer games already take advantage of it too. At this budget I think dual core is a very good idea for you.

i dident think 2000+ can get me this type of super computer, i heard rumers on these new directx10 cards are they worth it?

There's always something new coming out for gaming cards. Every year they seem to blow away the products from the year before, but I wouldn't worry about it too much since this sort of thing is always happening.

thats tru that 6800gt card was top of line i heard like a year ago

Yeah, it was pretty high up there along with the 6800ultra and the ATI equivalents pretty recently. The 78xx series on nvidia and the new ATI cards have turned it up a notch as usual though.

If you do have some extra cash to throw at it though, I would put extra into the videocard and maybe the powersupply next.

The other big thing you might want to change is taking the CPU down a notch and stepping the videocard up a notch.

I think that's going to depend on how important gaming is to you and if you're doing other very CPU intensive tasks.

I wish I knew more about what kind of balance would be better for 3d rendering programs.

What programs do you use again?

Well some of the newer games with everything maxxed out will bring even the most expensive cards to their knees. It's pretty dependent on the resolution though.

1280x1024 would be considered pretty low resolution now since there are some very high res displays out there.

Anyway, a 7800gt will put you in good shape for turning up details at that resolution.

If you have some extra cash though that you might want to "invest" in this, a 7800gtx would get you some more video processing power.

Example: Something like Black and White 2

Actually I'm still on page 2 (you can adjust the number of posts you see per page in the profile area)

That's where you can change your avatar too.

Goodnight.

Since you have the money, and they have international shipping.
Tigerdirect
It has good points and bad points, but it will do what you need it to and have room for future upgrades. You will have to purchase optical drives and Windows, video card if you choose to get a different one than you have.

Did I miss something, or is there no motherboard on your list? No suggestions, as I do not have a PCI-E board yet.
I would get an NEC DVD writer too, but I don't know anything about the Ben-Q.
I agree with the suggestion to drop to a slower CPU and get a better vid card, or just to save $
I assume the HD is SATA. I love my raptors, but if you want storage I suppose a regular SATA would be better.
Personally, I would have a raptor to boot Windows and load important programs from, and then use the larger SATA drive for storage.

The motherboard is bundled with the videocard.

I have an NEC drive, but I know Benq makes good drives too.
