the hard drives are really hard to mount. first you mount them to the cage(the hard part) then you thumbscrew them into the case.

but they are really cooled nicely by the fans. everest says my hard drives are 26c ish.

I think I would have to see this case in person. I guess if I won't really be removing the hard drives over and over again it shouldn't be a problem. The main thing I want is of course, very cool hard drives. Does anyone know if the 120mm fans are 120x38 or if they're the smaller size?

Any word on reviews for this badboy? It still is not on Antec's website, what gives?

There are a few user reviews at Newegg.

I mean real reviews as in HARD, Anandtech, GURU3D.....etc.....

I've seen it as low as $115 + shipping. Newegg is charging way too much.

It's now selling for $99.13 at TECHONWEB.

I have one coming and my GF has two cats that produce all kinds of stuff to gum up fans.

I'll report back on how it goes.

i don't like it. for $150, i also expect screw-less design. also, good luck finding another 200mm if that one dies. the case itself is indeed a Stacker wannabe as Zepper pointed out.

This case is listed on canadacomputers as 130 which is cheaper than P180's go up here, but 130CDN is much better than 150USD for sure!

Sorry, but that thing is just plain ugly. No thought was put into it.

I got mine yesterday and spent 2 and a half hours putting it together...

It is not easy (coming from a P160) since it's not tool less. Lots of screws to take out. No rubber mounts for any drives. It can fit 6 hard drives and 3 dvd drives so the room is not a problem but mounting the drives is a P.I.T.A.

The window is pretty flimsy (compared to the P160) but you can mount a fan on it. There is a bracket on the window that cannot be removed. It was an issue with my Thermaltake Silent Water being mounted to the rear 120mm. I had to put my Silent Water on top of the bottom mounted drive cage which took away 3 hard drive spots and 1 DVD/CD drive spot...

Also, my PSU had to be mounted with the fan facing up which puts the wires closest to the window and kind of junked up my wiring...

All in all, I'm sure this case has excellent cooling and it looks cool but it's not the most user friendly case... Not worth more than $100 IMHO.

I kept looking back at my P160 and almost said screw this... I liked the room of the P160 and it's user friendliness...

It would work much better if the top recessed part was a cup holder to hold beer..

Or is it an intergrated ashtray ?

LoL! That's one way of putting it!

I think the larger point is... this is obviously a case made for a very special niche market.

Personally, I doesn't see it ever gaining favor with anybody except certain gamers, e.g. gamers that can't stand Alien-style cases !

For that much money, I would take a LianLi case easy over this thing. IMO of course.

If the 180 is an oven than all cases are ovens. The p180 is one of the coolest, and quietest for the price out there.
