Yeah the P180 does create an oven for your system. It has lots of fans, but even still..

That looks like a very...niche...case. Stacker wannabe? Definitely.
Lots of holes does mean lots of cooling, but it also means that internal system noise will leak out of the system. Thus, the case will have lower temps than all previous Antec cases, but it won't be any quieter.
As for the looks, I'm not so hot about the black perforated monolith look. My Antec P160 looks really nice sitting under my desk.

Looks like a nice case for a small file server. But how's the HD accessibility? Looks pretty bad from the side -- can the front be pulled off easily to pull out the drive cages?

The front grills are good for catching the dust before the drive coolers, but the LEDs can be good at lighting up the residual dust (even after dusting). At least some other similar designs have this problem. But it should be easy to swap out the fans.

The window doesn't bother me -- it can give a bit of illusion of space, lower the price at times, and let you see some internal status LEDs through it.

Whats up with new cases having 200+ mm fans. But this one is more unique, as has one on top. (Mostly its located on the side).

Looks ok, but i think the interior of p180 is more well though of and designed than this one. This case looks like it focuses more on the cooling side of things.

To install/remove the HDs you'll have to remove both side panels, remove 8 thumbscrews that secure the HD cage to the case. Slide the cage forward (you'd want to detach any cables) and you have access to the drives.

Thanks. If I understand this correctly, "forward" means through the front of the case, so either the front panel detaches, or the grill/bay covers can be removed.

Yuck. Call me spoiled, but, with my P160, I hardly ever need to remove the right (when viewed from front) side panel. Hard drives slide in across, optical drives slide in from the front on rails, 3.5" devices have a removable cage.

I do get on the other side for cable routing, though. Still, two removable side panels is SO 1999.

Yeah, the 900 doesn't seem great from a drive maintenance point of view. I guess it's tolerable, but it could be a lot better. Even the "lowly" SLK3000B seems to have a nicer drive maintenance system with its sideways removable drive cage.

Any reason you didn't do it like the Titan's mounting system where the trays slide/lock into place instead of thumbscrewing in place? I really like the way the titan can remove drives from the front pretty easily with just the removal of the single side panel.
