I agree. Now that Macs can run Windows, I don't foresee any huge developments in Mac gaming, but who knows. The least Apple could do is introduce a low-priced desktop that we could stick nice video cards into. My brother's MacBook Pro actually plays Half-Life 2 smoothly at the native resolution of 1440x900, but then again, it's an $1800 machine...you could build a pretty sick gaming PC for that kind of money. We know that Apple will eventually make an Intel desktop, but judging by the current price of their G5 desktop machines, they won't be cheap...

macs last forever, though. they retain their value WAAAAY better than pcs do. i got my powerbook 3 years ago and it's still trucking along great. it'll have the occasional microsoft app hiccup, but hopefully, now that i'm using tiger, it won't anymore.
