I've been using the new bios since two or three days ago and have had no problems so far. I like that it adds support for more memory speeds. Maybe I'll get some faster memory sometime. Maybe this OCZ 1 GB DDR600 dual-channel kit:

With the new bios version, I could select DDR500 in the bios then increase bus speed to 240 MHz, resulting in a 2.4 GHz processor with memory running at 300 MHz. Or I could set the multiplier to 8 and just barely overclock it so I could run both the processor and memory at basically normal settings.
Well, I guess I have no problems with timings like what was mentioned because I have good memory. I can use 2-2-2-5 1T timings when the memory isn't overclocked (memory is DDR400) and have it completely stable (ran memtest86 overnight, then stopped it to use the computer) and 2-3-2-10 1T timings when running at DDR466 speed (10 tRAS seemed optimal for speed, but I could go lower). At that overclocked speed I let memtest86 finish its test at least once and there were no errors.
