I just completed my new computer with the following parts,
Gigabyte 965P DS3
Intel C2D E6700
G.Skill 2GB RAM
BFG 8800GTX
WD 74GB Raptor
Antec 650W TruePower Trio
Everything is stock and I haven't overclocked a single thing. I checked the temp of my CPU in the BIOS and it shows 46C. I then check the CPU temp using some programs and here are some pics of what I got.
Temp when calculating 32M in Super Pi
Idel temps after Super Pi finished
Are those normal? Is it also normal that one core is hotter than the other core?
I'm wondering if the stock cooler is installed improperly? Also, should get an aftermarket cooler for my CPU since I'm using the stock one that came with the E6700. Also, here's a pic of the inside of my case to help determine if I have bad airflow.
Inside of my case
I should note that the fan at the top of the case blows air in and not out.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
