Was this a msi GTX 570? A lot of bad reviews on newegg about those. Lots of people getting bad cards. If you have a spare card I'd try it and see what happens.

It's either the Memory or the Motherboard

Try fooling with the voltages first.

EDIT: turn off Vdroop and raise the memory voltages, both at minimal increments.

Did you try to re-seed your ram sticks? I had a bsod because of that last time i built new system. Make sure all of your drivers up to date, not just video card. Use cd that came with mobo.

How long did you let memtest run? Are the timings on the ram set correctly in the bios? What voltage is the ram running at? Does lowering ram speeds stop the bsod?

At what point did you come to the conclusion it's the ram? Or are we parts swapping now?

Have you tried reseating ram, reseating CPU, unplugging all cables and plugging them back in securely? What else do you have installed in your pc? I would take out any soundcards, wireless cards, even unhook USB cables and optical drive. And see if it continues.
Did you try another video card? Did you run intel burn test?

tried all that, running intel burn now, only thing installed were drivers and bFBC2, is 1.35 volts to low for gaming? the gskill was on the QVL list for the board but im wondering if i should maybe try some different ram first and then mybe its the board, ive heard giabytes have issues with vdrop

On stock multiplier with auto voltage, it is usually overvolting enough that vdroop should not cause instability. Few of the enthusiasts here are electrical/computer engineers, and few have experience with 1.35v DRAM, so you should not be asking and expecting good answers about that. How about buying a 1.5v kit and switching it alone to maybe isolate the problem and bring more knowledge to these forums?

IBT and Prime95 have always been able to reproduce system stability issues for me, so I hope you can prove that it is or is not graphics related through those tests. If you can get instability outside of games, I suspect that your memory configuration may need some work. My X58 system wasn't stable at stock, and it turned out that I had to goof with the memory configuration a bit to make it stable. Maybe it was because I use 1.5v when 1.65v was more common for that platform.
