Nice worries lopri. Nice looking rig so far! I wish I had the patience you do for cable routing.

Turns out I can't use the fan duct with the HR-01. It has to be fully compressed to fit which makes it inflexible. It needed to make a slight bend to make the connection. Oh well. The heatsinks look nice. I'm going to install a 120mm fan on top of heatsink before overclocking.

I repositioned the HR-05 because I had plenty of room. An installed fan would blow air onto the memory. I may do that later. Here are pics:

Original plan for orientation

Fan duct attached to heatsink

Upgraded bolt-thru retention. Nice! Thanks Thermalright...

Need to add a 120mm to cpu heatsink and it's done

I think you still should stick with the original orientation! but thats just me

Wow i thought you were getting the HR-03 too, if you were that would be a crazy line of heatsinks

I agree. Repositioning the chipset cooler back to what I had will allow for a 120mm fan to be installed on the cpu heatsink bottom. It will be in close proximity to the chipset cooler, serving to cool it as well.

*Edit*
Seems to work nicely. E6600 stock idling at 35C, MB at 37C. Time to burn in and find the sweet spot.

I'm planning an E6600 / 8800GTX build in February (waiting for the P182 to be released... HOPEFULLY in February). I'll be using a 680i instead of the 650i, but other than that our systems will be nearly identical. Thank you very much for the detailed installation and pics... I'll probably end up following your lead on the heat sink/fan installs. Keep us informed!

Question: what memory did you decide on and why? How do you intend on balancing the timings vs. clock?
