The other day i downloaded a 1080p movie to my computer, which is running a 7800gt, AMD 3700+ single core, and 2 gigs of ram. It chugged a bit on the BlueRay rip. I've never liked MKVs.
Any way, its time for a new rig, and ive picked out 4 parts. I would ask you all to scrutinize my choices and let me know if i can tweak any thing to get higher performance for the same for less money. Memory and CPU i am VERY open to suggestions on assumeing We are talking Intel parts. I am not doing ATI/AMD this time around. Any input at all is appriciated! Also, i have a 500 watt PSU i would like to delay upgradeing. Can i get away with it?
