NEVER BUY ANY OF THOSE FRIGGIN "WIPE" THINGIES that armor all and all those people put out.

they ALL suck. i recently used

Armor All Interior Wipes - SUCK! they don't pick up any lint and don't really clean at all
Maguire's Leather Wipes - AWFUL! dries out very fast.... you'd have to use 10 wipes to clean a whole seat (streaky too)
Rain-X Wipes - CRAP!

You can get it in the states as it was a friend who lives in Atlanta that introduced me to it. If you clean your car, get one of these.... Oh and it's called the "Hydra Flexi Blade"

Why do you like Zaino? Is it better than any other products you have tried? What other products have you tried. Do you have a picture of your car with Zaino on it?

Don't become another Yakko. One is more than enough.

the best way i've found to clean my carpet is with VO5 shampoo and a nice scrub brush.

Spooner, I hope I didn't sound too bad when I said "may I recomend checking out this auto detailing forum before spending more money on products that may or not work". That was my nice friendly way of saying those guys have already checked out a lot of products and might save you some money and fustration.

I read it again and it sounded a bit brusque to me and I didn't intend it to.

Anyway, I thought I would post this pic again. It's the one pic that is really making me want to try Zaino.

Here's another tip, don't use one of those kitchen sponges that have the brilo pad(I think thats what they're called) on the back. I washed the wifes van couple weeks ago and thought, hey this will work wonders on taking bugs and gunk off. Well, it did a superb job. But left all these tiny little scratches. :Q Well, I don't think the wife will ask me to wash it anytime soon.

Clay Bars

Clay bars are one of those detailers secrets that not many people know of. They will pull embedded grime out of your cars finish and leave it very smooth. Proper technique is important though. Do some reading on the autopia site.

I ruined a set of aluminum rims with that armorall alum.cleaner. Turns out some alum.oem rims are clear coated and don't need much more then a soapy wipe of a sponge. Not that acidic armorall stuff. Ruined the clear finish...

Anyone have any suggestions on a product that will clean the black bumper stripes on the doors? My car has those door guard things, and are supposed to be black, but over the years they have turned gray, and it looks ugly. I tried using Armor All on it, it looked great for a few days, then it washed off in a rainstorm and it's back to that faded grey look.

I've got the same faded body molding on my truck. Tried everything I could find to restore the black appearance and all have failed. Thinking of peeling em off and painting them flat black...

For the black trim that's turned grey, try shoe polish. I guarantee it will last a lot longer than Armor All. It sure as heck can't hurt anything.

Of course a few coats of a good flat (or satin) black spray paint will last the longest.

There's something in the newsprint that really gets the job done and it doesn't leave any streaks or residue on the windows.
