New car suggestions

I've had a '14 Wrangler for almost 3 years now. Looking to switch to something more gas efficient, probably a hybrid. Would prefer a hatcback.

I was looking at the CT200h, found a 2015 CPO with only 2,000 miles and the f sport package. MSRP was 39k and i've been able to get it down from 29.5k to 27k. I think it's been on the lot for a month. Dealer didn't start using it as a loaner until 1/1/16, so technically it's only been used a year.
I think it's come down to this CT200h and a Mazda3 hatch. VW or anything German is not really on my radar as I will want to keep this car past 100k with trouble free miles. Not into the Focus styling.

Does anyone think this is a good price? I test drove it, feels brand new, even still smells new!

I'd go Japanese if you're looking for reliability. Why not a Prius instead of the CT200h? Or a new Civic Hatchback?

The CT is pretty cramped inside, painfully slow, outdated tech and a tiny cargo area.

Look at the Kia Niro, Hyundai Ioniq, off lease CMAX Energi. Prius Prime is also a contender - better tech, better suspension, quicker, and more fuel efficient - just polarizing looks.

Civic Hatch/Sedan Touring should also be looked at - its gets 40mpg which is in line with the CT. Cruze Premier is also nice with big rebates and is very roomy while getting great MPG.

Actually went and got the CT yesterday! It's just a DD for me, I prefer how cozy it is.

The new Civic looks nice but optioned to something similar to this CT, it was a little more. Plus I the city/highway was much lower than the CT.
I don't like the way the Prius looks, never been a fan of Chevy. I had a cobalt and that car was the biggest POS.

The Ioniq looked really interesting but it's not even out yet! Needed a car within the couple weeks.
