You broke the rules in your first post.

No I didnt, if you can prove it please do. I told him I had a card, that was all. Everything else was PM'd, by the rules. All my FS adds are in the tradeing forums.

Thanks though.:\

For the record, my beta ran fine at 1680 x 1050 on a 5770 with most of the settings turned up, though at least at that point it did not have native AA, I don't know if it does now.

Since it's an MMO, expecting the hardware requirements to be very high at all is a real misconception. The nature of these games require them to be as accessible as possible. If you do go into the options and turn everything all the way up, yes you will probably want a higher end card, but to simply play the game you'll be more than fine on an 8800.

? You ever tried FFXIV (Be glad if you havn't)? You needed a VERY good card to even attempt to do anything in the game, which happens to be an MMO.

Im not disagreeing that the card will not work, but its not going to work very well. This isnt 2005, the same cards that worked for "MMO" back then are not the same cards that will work now and not have problems. This is fact.

Will his 8800GT work? YES. Will it be good enough to play the game well? NO. Do we not understand what minimum specs are? That is what he's meeting. The game will not run at medium/high settings, this is guaranteed.

No he isn't meeting them he is almost doubling them, once again you are talking rubbish.

Yes you were trying to sell him a card he won't need, I don't care if you talked money via PM.

You are playing a BETA, do you not understand what that means. By the way i'm not threadcapping i'm giving him the exact same advice EVERYONE else in this thread is apart from you.

There are no recommended specs yet.
I'm pretty sure I've played more than you.

O Im sorry, the minimum specs.

Im not sure if you saw the sarcasm in me there. Im not to sure how your pretty sure you've played with anything more than me, other than yourself?

Are we like 4 years old now?

EDIT: S44 do you even know WTF your talking about, how does you mystically knowing you've "played the game more" do anything for the discussion? Are you really my wife or something? Or is my star wars played app not on private again? If the game wouldn't run worth a darn on the 8800 I saw it running on it doesnt matter if it took 5 minutes or the entire BETA? Ive seen it recently and thats what Im basing my "opinion" on.

PS. Ive never actually said anything about the actual official requirements, I was being sarcastic about the third thread and this entire thread.

Do I need to explain time to you aswell? See time actually passes in a linear fashion. Therefore the 4 MONTH old thread you are linking to wasn't wrong when it was written but if you actually look in the FAQ (oh what a strange place to put it... see i can do sarcasm to) you will find this.

Try again.

Those are minspecs. You know what that means -- not suitable for actual play.

8800GT is, of course, way better than any of these cards.

You call coming in to hawk your card, then spouting all sorts of incorrect generalities and insults when you're called on it "sarcasm"?

I call it asking for mod attention.

It is an MMO, so I am pretty sure you are going to be bottlenecked by CPU, getting better CPU would give you much higher FPS then new graphic card. Soloing/questing, running around will give you solid FPS, but once you get to a big city/raid/dungeon your FPS will suffer like hell. I am talking from Aion, WoW, Lineage, Age of Conan experience.

Just my opinion.

And you come in here not knowing a single thing about what your spouting about. Let me ask you this, point out once where it said I had a card for sell before someone tried to accuse me of it? My first post said I had a card he might be interested in, HE mentioned he was possibly looking for a better card, a 6870, which is what he was PM'd about, this could mean any number of things, you 3 assumed thats what I meant. Any mention of selling the card was kept to PM's so keep your 4 year old comments to yourself.

Really, "you've played more than me" How old are you man? You are the one that is asking for mod attention, not myself.

If you want to go ahead and report my post for being a for sale post PLEASE DO, I can guarantee it was not and it was never mentioned until I was defending myself, so please spare me your ignorance.

BTW no one called me on anything, the FEW people that actually posted in here who have ACTUALLY PLAYED the game only confirmed what I've said. Whats entirely funny is the point you just made about the specs is the EXACT same thing I've been saying. IE: You have absolutely NO IDEA what your even saying, so please...--->>>>go thata way.

No integrated graphics are min specs the 7800/x1800 are recommended specs.
The 8800gt is at least 2x faster than the 7800/x1800 recommended specs.

Whats the difference! , the guy said med settings is fine and the game will run EASILY with a 8800gt at medium settings!!!!!!!!!!!

The game is weak! any 2 year old card will run it easily.

Seriously, no. They're all minspec. Trust me, I've been looking at this issue since before Bio announced anything.

Yes, it's crazy, since I think even Sandy Bridge is slower than the 7800GT, but that's the official word. My guess: ~12-16 shaders at a reasonable clock will run the game, but the next card down for Nvidia/AMD didn't even manage that.

But like I said, that's rock-bottom minimum. Recommended, when it finally does appear, will be higher. My guess is that they'll actually name the 8800GT...

integrated graphics and 7800/x1800 are not even in the same league.

If it will just about run on intel 4100 integrated graphics , it will easily run on a 7800gtx.
A 7800gtx is 3x faster than intel 4100 IGP.
A 8800gt is 2x faster than a 7800gtx.

A 7800gt is faster than Intels Sandybridge 2000 graphics which is much faster than Intel 4100 IGP
