Explains why using the Bal27 results in no kills, really.

As much as I liked this game, I have already stopped playing it. It was a refreshing game vs the previous few CODs, but it just was more of the same.

As far as weapon balance, I had little trouble using SMGs against BALs. But, I played strictly HC.

I got it a few days ago...and I regret it. Matchmaking is beyond broken: first game, put with a lot of level 1-10 players, first place basically 20-10. Play a few more, doing well. Leave and join another game: placed with a bunch of 40+ level players, get bent over 2-14. Leave, go to new match. Oh hey, it's more level 10 players. Play for a while doing well. Quit. Player later on, crap back with the level 40+ players, getting killed in one hit by some guy running around with a one shot pistol and double the speed I can run at.

...I haven't played COD online since World at War...and color me incredibly unimpressed. I feel cheated of my money. I'll happily go back to titanfall for my online fix.

"eh" - I don't like the bots, I get tired of the matchmaking at times (seriously, I don't want to play on a team of random people versus 4 people in a party together. Which I got last night.) And I would LOVE to see the smart pistol removed from the game. If for no other reason than it's OP in attrition, and encourages people to hide in weird places waiting for a pilot to run by.

It's better than COD:AW, but in my not so humble (and while playing COD, incredibly frustrated) opinion, is that COD:AW is a really REALLY terrible game and playing "bleeding hemorrhoids" is more enjoyable. In the end, I think I'm realizing that I need to go back to the PC for multiplayer games. I don't like gaming on a controller. I do it, but it's not the most fun (and the aiming on COD AW is a bit different than Titanfall, which is really annoying.)

I did a bit better last night...but I will say - I think a number of people on here are using a XIM controller - they're aiming with precision not possible on a controller. I really should just set up steam to project to my TV and go with PC gaming on my TV from now on (gaming on my PC gets complaints from my GF about me hiding from her. Moving to the couch for some reason silences these claims.)

I refuse to buy a XIM - if I am to use a KB/M it'll be on a bloody PC. I wish Sony & MS would work to ban people from XBL using a XIM.

I don't think it's people using a xim controller. There's a guy on ps4 that plays AW and I've watched his stream a few times and his accuracy is amazing for a controller.
You gotta think how long have these people been playing cod with a controller. You get better the longer you play and there will always be people who are better then the majority at games.
Practice makes perfect, mess with your sensitivity. If you've always been a pc gamer you'll never feel like a controller is good enough.
I started on console then moved to pc and came back to console. I don't have trouble aiming in cod when I played it.
Use 1 gun for a while and you'll get a feel for the recoil and you'll compensate for it keeping your shots on target all the time

I've been working with the AK12 as I heavily prefer a mobile build while still packing a punch. I've been doing OK with it. But I can unload 4 rounds right in someones chest at nearly point blank range and they live. I take one shot from what looks like a SMG and I'm dead.

I haven't played a lot of other online stuff, just local deathmatches. So this is really my first foray into the world of online matches. I dig the frenetic tempo of AW over the slow slog of the older COD games. I'm much more of a run and gun dog fighter since I can't snipe for shit or line up long shots with a controller.

Yeah - I've noticed the same. Watching replays shows that it looks like it's a latency issue. When I saw them for a second and fired, from their perspective they saw me before I saw them (as in, from my perspective they came around the corner and half a second later I was shooting. From their perspective, they came around the corner and saw me and were shooting 2 seconds before I began shooting.) And when I check the scoreboard, often times our connections are both 4 bars.

Knifing has the same problem - sometimes they enter a room and knife me within a half second or less...but from their perspective they had MUCH more time to react than I did.

I suspect the issue is that one of us, despite having "4 bars" is connecting with a high latency...or both. Since I don't get to pick servers like I did playing COD4/5 on the PC and select a low latency (<20ms) server, I can end up on a server 1,000 miles or more from Seattle.

Long story short - multiplayer games shall remain on the PC for me. And I'll avoid games with matchmaking, unless it's LoL.

I have a digital copy. Wish I didn't - I won't be doing digital copies anymore. That's for sure.

Yup I'll never do digital unless its free or if it's an add-on for a game I own on disc. With gcu and the trade in value at the right times, I save some money and am able to get new games fairly quickly if I want to.

All my games I own now are the digital version. I only buy digital for games that i can come back to and play at a later date.
I wouldn't dare buy a digital sports game.

I've got the last of us, trials fusion, injustice, little BIG planet 3, gta 5, plants vs zombies garden warfare, monopoly family fun pack, and pure pool all digital. I'll be buying mortal kombat and the next call of duty digital because MK is fun too play whenever and the next COD will have zombies and we won't get that again for 3 years so it's worth buying digital to me.

I got a sweet deal on a bunch of psn store cash cards at .50 cents on the dollar a while ago and psn had the deal to get $15 back in credit for every $100 you spent so i spent almost $250 that i got for $125 so it was worth it for me plus I got a free $30 from Sony for buying the stuff during the promo. I've got $35 sitting in my wallet now
