What is the difference between this and the Trupower line? I looked at the spec sheets for the SL400 and the True 430, but don't understand what I'm looking at other then a 30,000 more MTBF hours.
On another note, I'm probably going to get the Law and Order game for $15. There's a $5 MIR in the 1st year DVD set. Gamespot 6.5 "Fair"

Read this.. IIRC the True Power line has throttling fans that will slow down when the system isn't as stressed. Not 100% sure on it though.

And after looking at the ad again, the Adaptec deals are pretty hot too. 50% off all Adaptec products after IR and MIRs. Too bad they don't carry any SCSI RAID products at the B&M.

SL400: Max loads: 38A on +5V, 28A on +3.3V, 18A on +12V, 240W combined on 5 and 3.3, 380W combined on 5, 3.3 and 12V.

TruPower430: 36A on +5V, 28A on +3.3V, 20A on +12V, 410W combined on 5, 3.3 and 12V.

I'd say they are pretty much even with respect to power supply capability

Heheh yah, I got one myself as I need one for my second XP rig.

Also, the Adaptec 1200A RAID card is only $49.99, ($59.99-10MIR). Pretty good deal IMO since no B&M in my area sells RAID cards other than CompUSA. Its the only one they have.

The Radeon 9700 Pro might also be good fodder for a PM + coupon deally. Otherwise, too many of their "sales" are just rebates...
