Native Command Queuing
Basically it affects how data on the disk is found and read. Tests have shown it to help in multi-user (sever) setups, but offer no gains and even some loss in performance on single user setups.
i never heard of it losing performance in personal PCs... got source?

Oh really....then let's do a short little comparison here without getting too technical.
Seasonic S12 430W $100 - 3 yr warranty, lowest cost, quiet, most efficient, plain looking.
OCZ Powerstream 420W $110 - 5 yr warranty, "bling" name, lowest advertised specs.
Antec NeoPower 480W $115 - 3 yr warranty, modular, highest adv. specs, highest cost.
It's pretty much a no-brainer for me....Considering the price difference, both the seasonic or the Antec would be a better deal, IMO. All I can see that the 420W powerstream has going for it is a better warranty, and that oh so important "bling". What does that do for performance? Absolutlely nothing.

Maybe you missed that last part. I put it in bold so your brain might have a chance to pick it up this time.

Question for IKE0069. You said that Antec PSUs are all inferior to OCZ, Seasonic, Fortron, and Enermax. It's clear that you hate Antec's PSUs.
But what about Antec's cases, specifically the P180.
I think it's always good to hear the comments from both haters and supporters.

Updated with changes. Anyone that can recommend a better case within same price range?

Don't worry about installing an OS on a SATA drive. It's pretty overhyped. I had a bit of trouble trying to install Windows on my RAID array, but I just asked on Anandtech, and everything worked out fine. The slim cables are definitely worth it. If you're going to spend like $91 on a PSU, this Sparkle would probably be better, even though it's like $10 more. It's a friggen monster, with 36A on a single +12V rail.
