Athlon 64 3200+
ASUS A8N-SLI
Radeon X850XTPE Vivo
GeIL ULTRA X DUAL CHANNEL 1024MB PC3200 2x512MB DDR 400MHZ CL2-5-2-2
OR Corsair TWINX1024-3200XL PC3200 DDR400 Memory 2x 512MB
Matched Pair
Western Digital 200GB 7200rpm Serial ATA
LiteOn SOHW-1653S
Lian Li V1000
Raidmax 500w PSU
Philips 200P4VB/00
Logitech MX1000 Cordless Laser Mouse
Logitech Elite Keyboard
Creative Inspire T7700
Also tacking on parts i already have
Powercolor play TV pro tv tuner
Creative SOund Blaster Audigy2 ZS sound card

The graphics card is likely to be Saphire brand as thats the only brand avaliable in NZ for the X850XTPE and i cant get a normal X850XT because i would have to get powercolor or gecube (which i refuse to get)
The system will be used for all sorts of applications, word processing, inter stuff, and most importantly games, eg HL2, UT04, Doom3, ect and strategy gameslike C&C series.
I choose the 20 inch LCD because i wanted the higher resolution offered by the 20 inchs over the 19s and 17s. How ever any better options would be greatly appreciated (try to choose cheaper ones as this system is already more than i was originally going to spend)

I have no idea why you're looking for approval when it is all top of the line equipment, but I guess I do need to ask you one thing: Will you be overclocking this system? If not, any of the good RAM's will do, but if you are I suggest you read the Anandtech article about Corsair's TwinX memory below:

http://www.anandtech.com/memor...owdoc.aspx?i=1972&p=13

That should help you decide if you're OCing.

I would go with a better brand of PSU. The size is fine, but I don't think I'd trust connecting all that hardware to that PSU.

that power supply is not a good choice.

arm yourself with the best power supply your budget can buy. then proceed to kick some serious A$$ with your new system.

I would recommend the Tagen TG480-U1 PSU - Offically the best PSU on the market. Ive got one waiting under my desk for my new machine - which wil arrive whenever Asus ship the AN8 Ultra.

Ive always liked Sapphire cards - you can't really go wrong with a Sapphire.

Also I would recommend the Corsair XL - it IS the best low latency ram about (Ive got some of this waiting for my new machine too )

My problem with the power supply is basically i am very limited in options to actually get it. Living in New Zealand i basically get hardly any choices, Raid max and hyena are basically the only brands of 500W PSUs i can afford or a Thermaltake 480W i could afford, although I have heard great thing in tomshardware about sparkle PSUs which i would be able to import from the US for about the same price as the thermaltake or could you tell me where i can purchase the Tagen TG480-U1 at a shopp that will ship to NZ?
And as a note on the RAM my friend is adamat that the RAM is the best i can possibly get both those specified have Samsung TCCDs

Sparkle PSU's are supposed to be pretty good. that would be a much better choice than what you have listed now.
Did you ever look on Ebay? Alot of items there will ship worldwide. You might be able to find a good PSU there.

Edit:
I found three real quick on Ebay that ship WW. These are all Antecs and are very good PSU's.

If you do a better search, I'm sure you will find plenty to chose from.
