Well I installed that amuzuma last night with an Enermax adjustable 92mm fan. I am getting more airflow at a lower noise level which is nice. It did knock the temps a bit bit only by maybe 2c full load. But making my case that much quieter is always nice.

For anyone interested, the 92mm with that adapter works really well. The open gap is very small if at all so the airflow is just the same! Pic here

<< Coolermaster's all copper heatsink that has a friggin HEATPIPE on them for $40 >>

If you meant the HC 001 (which has a heatpipe), you can get it cheaper ($28) from Here

This HSF works well, IMO. It cooled my Coppermine P3-1000@1300 about 10c better than a Volcano 7, but was louder. When I transplanted my P3 to a different board using a slotket, the heatpipes got in the way so I traded it to a buddy who's now running it on an unoverclocked AthlonXP 1600, running about 90F (LOL, I check my stuff in C and he uses F).

Hi!!

You are all saying that the cooler master HHC-001 is louder than the alph PAL8045. But thats just because of the stock fan....right?? Or is it realted to the heatsink itself??

The Cooler Master comes blister-packed with a 6800RPM fan that does 36.11CFM. That makes for a noisy fan. The Alpha gets packaged with whatever fan the retailer wants to bundle with it (some give you various choices). Most 80cm fans are quieter than a 60mm 6800RPM fan.

I've found the HHC-001 to be an excellent cooler, definitely better that the Thermalright SK-6 I just replaced.

If the noise of the fan is too loud, consider using a rheostat, such as a rheobus (which I use) or an inline one, such as from Sidewindercomputers.com. You can then dial down the voltage and have the fan running as a 4600 rpm fan.

On several boards, such as the Shuttle AK31/AK35 boards, the northbridge fan will impede installation of the heatsink due to the heatpipes. I simply unscrewed the northbridge fan, mounted the HHC-001, and superglued the northbridge fan back on its heatsink not more than 1/16" below where it was. You couldn't even tell it had been moved (except that the screws aren't so much there any more...).
