The TPC 812 uses 2 separate cooling technologies to transfer heat – heat pipes and vertical vapor chambers.
Ready for overclocking, benchmarking and silent cooling.
The first-ever CPU heatsink to use vertical vapor chamber technology.
100% pure polished copper base – combined with improved soldering technologies for the best thermal transfer.
Special fin design – heatsink receives concentrated cold airflow.
Improved air pressure design and fan mounting system.

Seems like a nice heatsink. The new Vapor Chamber technology is supposed to rival the closed-loop watercooling setups. Should be available in retail channel anytime now.

I'll post reviews once they come in.

Interested. but basically "VERTICAL VAPOR CHAMBERS" OF DOOMY DOOMY DOOM !
are just flat heatpipes.

And no surprise here, a flat heatpipe is better than a round one (incredible .. like in every single laptop heatpipe system. whodathunk).

But it does look like they fixed the 212+'s problem of the gap between the fan and the heat exchanger... that alone should increase efficiency.

They released a new sink just a while ago, also riding on the popular 212+ style:

Hyper 612 PWM ($40 AR too, performs better than a lot of more expensive coolers)

If the naming scheme is to be believed, 812 will be an even better performer. Looking forward to some nice results

They claim wider spaced fins on the 612... again, a better mousetrap compared to the 212+...

These reviews are kinda meaningless - they should have tested against the Havik 140 instead of 120 or threw in a NH-D14 (or not haha) - 2 fan testing would be better too.

My guess it is Havik 140 level but not NH-D14 level or Phanteks level otherwise they would have picked a better comparison test.

I would like to see that as well. However the the 812 uses one 120mm fan and it did beat the Havic 120 by a good bit and still edged out the Havic 120 w/2 fans. The cooler is not even for sale yet (should be soon though), I am sure a lot more reviews are on the way. These 2 were really kind of lacking. But, it seems the 812 performs even better when overclocked due to the vertical vapor chambers.

NH-D14 would be a nice comparision and if it can even match it, I say it is a win for CM especially since the 812 is a not as big as the D14.

Is it possible to put 2 fans on the CoolerMaster TPC 812?

Yes, it is. The 812 comes with a 2nd fan bracket for a 2nd 120mm fan. That graph you posted is with only one fan, so temps should be a few degress cooler w/an additional fan.

Read the PDF - comes only with 1 set of fan brackets would need to special order a second set for 2 fan configuration.

It comes with one fan, but it does come with 2 fan brackets. I watched an unboxing of it on YouTube and the dude clearly stated it came with the extra fan bracket.

Ok cool I might pick it up - both this and the Thermaltake Frio Extreme look interesting.
