I soo cannot wait for this game. And I definitely want to see some benchmarks before I upgrade my system for it.

i, for one, will be one of the many people who will drop whatever is the $600 videocard at game's release to be able to play the game with all the eye candy.

I'm dreading the costs involved in playing the game that way. More than likely you'll be looking at a quad core cpu and two video cards to run the game with all the eye candy. If the game runs smoothly at 1600x1200 with a dual core cpu and a single $400 video card, I'd be amazed. I remember when Far Cry was released, you had to have a top notch OC'd system to play it at 1600x1200 with AA/AF on. I went out and paid $400 for an x800 Pro just play at 16x12 and without any aa/af. PC gaming aint cheap, but damn, the good games like this are what keep us spending the cash.

when farcry was released, you couldn't play it at 1600x1200
iirc the top dogs then were the 5900 and the 9800 XT, which meant 1024x768 with 2xAA/8xAF, or 1280 with noAA/8xAF (for the 9800 at least)...

I think you're right. But soon after it was released, the X800 and 6800's came out. I remember finishing the game on my ti 4200.

Sorry, but as amazing this game is, it's not worth a premature move to Vista.

Heres a clip for the actual editor. It looks SOOO easy to create maps. Would this editor be included in Crysis or only for people who license Cry Engine 2?
