New Cucumber Lime Gatorade hummm...

I bought some on a whim last night, I like lime and I like Cucumber, well on my salads any ways. It sounded like too weird of combination to pass up. Plus it could be gone forever in a week. I opened it and took a whiff, it smells exactly like a Cucumber. Honestly I don't even smell lime, anywho as I drink it I'm not sure if I like it, but it's not bad, the Cucumber taste is the main thing here, the lime is sort of the aftertaste, which seems backwards. It's kind of salty tasting too, I suppose if you dipped an actual cucumber in lime juice and ate it, this is what it would taste like. I don't know if this flavor will be popular enough for it stick around, but it's something different, and not bad tasting. I think if I were to drink it it every day for a few weeks I might even start to really like it. I still can't get over the "damn it tastes like a Cucumber" suprise after every sip. I think I'll go pick up some Don Juillo and see what kind of Margarita it makes

For how unassuming and watery cucumbers are, I find that cucumber flavor (including from an actual cucumber) overpowers a lot of things. It's a little bit shocking, honestly.

That said, I don't know if I could ever bring myself to try cucumber flavored Gatorade, so well done OP.

I have yet to have a Gatorade drink that was not too salty and did not taste like sweat.

I mistakenly bought one of those once. It was one of those half-Spanish labels and I just assumed it was lemon & lime or something. Yuck. Didn't take more than two sips of it and dumped the rest.

Sounds great. I love Pepsi/Coke special flavors. ESPECIALLY the cola with lemon.
