1) yes
2) Wireless N is another wireless standard like wireless A/B/G. technically its supposed to be superior to wireless G but it has not been adopted as the actual STANDARD of wireless. you will need all wireless N capable hardware for wireless N to work to its full potential, so since you dont know what it is, it wont be "worth it" to you.
