new dets cause direct3d to choke

Using a GeForce 3 and just installed the new drivers. OpenGL games run better than before but now all Direct3D games choke. I tried Unreal Tournament and Rune and both are running at 11fps for some reason. Anyone else encounter anything like this?

Check your FSAA settings in the Nvidia display properties panel,11fps is bad so something is wrong somewhere.

Tried it with FSAA enabled and disabled, with no real difference in FPS. Direct3D games still hover around the 11 fps mark.

Ouch...feel your pain, I don't have Nvidia cards, but good luck.

Which version of DirectX are all of you experiencing drops running? I have found a single bench where I can show any drop(MDK2- 16x12x32 w/ani), and gameplay backs this up. UT in particular I was having some performance issues realting to input lag running 16x12 which are now gone, the game runs quite a bit smoother with the Det4s for me(running a GF2 Pro450, DX 8.1 682 build).
