Fatwallet.com just opened up fatcash.com which works like ebates ($3 for signing up normally), but has a few stores on better rates than ebates. Worth checking if ebates doesn't have a merchant you're shopping at .

It strikes me as a conflict of interest for FatWallet to be milking their public even more now. It's going to lead them on a very different path than Anand, and they will continue to leach off Anand in order to survive.
He is just a copy cat. First he coppied anandtech and now he is copying ebates. I bet he even copied off the kid next to him in school. I guess the guy cant come up with anything by himself.
Yes, I too agree that tim is sucking his members for everything they've got... But the members love him for it (they can't see past the part where he is making money from them). I'm not saying tim is evil, BUT he is in it to make money. I wish him luck, but I doubt he will succeed (I'm sure people will brighten up).

you guys are dumb. exactly how is he "sucking" money from his users? this is a VOLUNTARY service that people sign up for at their discretion. of course he's trying to make money, and so what? the last time I checked we lived in a capitalistic society. does that mean he's somehow cheating his members? no. you people have been leeching off the internet for too long... somehow you got the notion that everything should exist to serve you at no benefit to others. as far as i'm concerned, tim is a business man who has bills to pay, and i for one appreciate his efforts in the forums.
I have no comment about Tim or FatWallet, ok well I do have one. I wish that we could peacefully co-exist but that will NEVER happen. I have seen Tim's public posts about they will not tolerate blah blah blah yet him and the mods still allow AnandTech bashing. I don't know about you guys but I see a lot more FW posts bashing AT posts than the other way around. Anyhow here's a pretty funny FatWallet OT thread worth reading. Whether people will accept it or not there was a huge exodus from AT to FW when AT stopped allowing Staples coupon codes and ALL coupon codes all together.
Anyhow this thread will probably be locked. I still love FW and they have found hundreds of great deals which were posted here and the reverse happened. I just wish members from both communities can peacefully co-exist but that will never happen *shrugs*
