I will start off by saying that the site looks nice. It would definitely be perfect if it weren't for the babes link! I will come right out and say this. I AM COMPLETELY AGAINST THE BABE LINK. I don't think this should represent Team AnandTech at all. I don't see how the Feds can show their faces either. I am really displeased. I would have liked a cleaner team. These forums have been a great place to be. Overall, i have seen little vulgarity, little flaming, and many other positive things.
If I weren't such a strong member, this would make me reconsider a few things. One thing is for sure, if I were a Fed, i would be utterly humiliated to have this site represent me. I would not continue to crack for the Feds until this were changed, if I were a member. I think the whole thing is uneccessesary, rediculous, and pretty distasteful. I'm sure some of you may say "Oh, its not even that bad of porn". I don't care, it is still porn. I feel sorry for people that are addicted to stuff like that, and I would hate to be responsible for their lust at all.
Gee, what if someone interested in becoming a TA member sees that? What will they say? Furthermore, I doubt you have a license to host that, and I doubt those pictures in particular are licensed either. I don't know anything about that stuff, but I can hardly believe anyone can just have whatever thye want available on a page.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN? Great, we have many young people, including myself on this team! I am really disappointed and hope this will be solved. Others that agree with me, I would also encourage you to say so and stand against this.
Look guys, I have nothing personal against you. Nor am I asking to be flamed by this thread. I will admit I haven't even been active as much in the forums as when I started, but what can I say? I am in high school. I am in honors classes, and I play sports. I don't know how some of you make as much time, but i just haven't been able to . I would relaly like to get involved again tho, we will see...
It has been sad to see members quit TA or even just RC5 for TA. Every time I saw one do so, it made me want to stay even more. I have been a member since June. And I have been cracking RC5 for a long time also . This is the ONLY thing so far that would make me think for a second. I still wouldn't want to quit, and especially over something like this tho. I am hoping this will get worked out. Thanks for your time.
