Not sure if there is anything going on here, seems to be mostly conjecture.

That said, people filming Voters from a Blacked Out van is very creepy to say the least.

And this tidbit:
Two e-mails, prepared for the executive director of the Bush campaign in Florida and the campaign's national research director in Washington DC, contain a 15-page so-called "caging list".

It lists 1,886 names and addresses of voters in predominantly black and traditionally Democrat areas of Jacksonville, Florida.

Hmmmmm....

If neither candidate takes OH or FL by more than 4-5%, there will be such a mess afterward we'll LONG for the days of the 2000 election.

10-27-2004 60,000 Florida Absentee Ballots Missing

Lines have moved so slowly at new touch-screen voting machines that only six votes per hour are being cast in parts of South Florida, a troubling ratio for next week's expected crush of voters.

Gov. Jeb Bush ordered election supervisors to "preserve order at the polls" after episodes of voter harassment arose and some workers threatened to abandon their posts when an aide was nearly choked by an angry partisan who grabbed the identification badge around her neck.

And as many as 60,000 absentee ballots here in Broward County have gone unaccounted for.

"I don't trust it," said Janice Monaldi of Ft. Lauderdale, whose suspicions about the election system were heightened when she discovered her home address had been inexplicably changed on her voter registration, which would have invalidated her ballot had she not checked. "I just hope it's enough of a landslide so it can't be questioned."

"There are things that are going on that shouldn't be," said Nicole Saiswick, a Ft. Lauderdale nurse whose absentee ballot is one of the nearly 60,000 that Broward County election officials believe have mysteriously been lost in the mail. "I'm not confident about the election at all."

A ballot that stretches beyond 10 pages complicates and slows the process.

After early voting opened on Oct. 18, residents complained about the long lines. Miami Herald reporters sent to watch 14 touch-screen voting machines in three South Florida counties found that at some stations the pace was so dawdling that only 71 voters would be able to cast ballots during the 12 hours of voting on Election Day.

BBC reports on potential plan to disrupt voters by challenging voters in the polls as they attempt to vote in Florida.

Republicans are concerned about ineligible voters of the Democratic variety.

This kinda thing has been easily anticipated - Florida is run by President Crook's brother and all his crownies.

They've had FOUR years for election reform, and where are we now? PROBLEMS at the voting areas already, before election day voting even begins.

There is no excuse for this in Florida - this proves underhanded crooked baloney is just bursting at its seams.

You're right. Lawyers on both sides are queing up all around the country to dispute this election's results. It could potentially do more damage to this country than anything the terrorists could possibly dream up. As much as I hate Bush I would rather see him win by a landslide than see either candidate win by a tiny margin, or in the electoral college.

I completely agree.

What saddens me is we have had four years to fix the election process and the only thing that's been done is that it's been made worse.

Many will disagree with me but, imo, this is more evidence that we need something like a National ID card that is used for situations such as elections, crossing the border (to Canada/Mexico) and returning, etc. Some event or situation that is not based on something that would be specific to one's homestate but, rather, is national in character.

You have a right to challenge voters at the polls. If they are illegitimate, then they shouldn't be voting in the first place.

Florida is crawling with illegals. The Democrats have registered a significant number of them to vote, because that's the only way they can win. If you think the Republican party will let the Dims get away with this, then you are sadly mistaken.

Proof? Show us a link that proves that accusation.

Ion Sancho, a Democrat, noted that Florida law allows political party operatives inside polling stations to stop voters from obtaining a ballot.

Some workers for the Democratic Party tried to get me registered to vote when I was in college. I told them I was not a U.S. citizen, but on a green card. "That's no problem", they said, "you can still vote once you register!"

I am from Florida and when I registered to vote. Since being in the military they explained how that would work. Carefully explaining that if a question arose, they would make a copy, review both and then submit both ballots.
Wow, I ge two votes and you guys only get one.............

I win......

I think they fixed it....

What is scary is the fact that US news agencies won't report it, the BBC was threatened by the RNC, saying they will pull all interviews and stories.

Too bad our media is owned by mega-corps and don't care for the truth.

Garuda has it exactly backwards, which isn't surprising.

Yes, some people have tried to vote who shouldn't have and some have succeeded in voting who shouldn't have. Every state has such problems with voters of every political persuasion. It's a very old problem.

But, what is actually happening is the Republicans are trying to intimidate voters because they are SCARED witless that they are going to lose Florida. And guess what? They are right. As we speak, the early voters are breaking 56% to 39% for JOHN KERRY. Republican lawyers are probably cooking up every possible way they can turn the Florida returns around. I would not be surprised to see massive litigation surrounding Florida's vote again and the whole election debacle of 2000 revisited in some form.

where does chess9 get his figures from? are the libs looking into the machines and possibly
changing the votes? demo's usually haul their voters to vote early as a sure way to get the vote
that they paid for.

You are so full of crap your eyes turned brown. This is typical of butt suckers that think Bush is the savour of America. Do you have any cognitive reasoning skills or are you just a republican parrot?

Those figures are from a Quinnipac poll. I don't have the link handy but you can find it if you search for it. Google is your friend.
Oh, and yes, I personally changed the votes of over a million Republicans. It was an easy hack....

TranceNation:

We have been working hard to get our people to the polls early this year. With multiple voting days that means no one is excused! We've been visiting some people 4-5 times and calling them. I'm calling people right now, or was until I posted these two.

Florida is on fire baby. Burn, BUSH, burn....
