For those of us with Nvidia cards, new ForceWhere drivers will be released on Wednesday March 22nd at NZone.
Saw this somewhere else, though i should mention it.

It's too bad the 84.21s drop OpenGL performance across the board by as much as 14% thanks to their Fear service pack characteristics. Who knows what this Oblivion service pack will do.

I probably wouldn't go that far but it would be interesting to see reviewers test the 84.21s in a variety of older OpenGL games.and ATI is going to own the OpenGL games.!?!
My own OpenGL tests comparing the 81.98s drivers to the 84.21s.Where did you get these figures?

As a quick example my CoD performance went from 116 FPS to 100 FPS.

As far as I was aware COD is a direct X game and not OpenGL?

Well, as I didn't use any driver set older than 84.20 on my 7900GT for the obvious reasons, I can't say whether or not there's been any slowdown in OGL performance. But I can say this for certain, Quake 4 doesn't phase my card in the least. And that's the latest and greatest OGL game I know of.Originally posted by: BFG10K

Nvidia specifically mentioned these are for Oblivion. They didnt state it in the driver notes but they usually dont. I didnt see anything about it in the .readme when the new fear drivers came out (unless I missed it). But yeah they already said these were for oblvion whether or not it states it in the readme. Downloading them now
