ARGH. They were showing reruns, but they didn't have any ad for the new episode. I don't understand this, because every 10 seconds they show a South Park ad. I changed the channel and missed the first half. WHY WOULD THEY NOT HAVE A SINGLE AD?

I saw benders big score in december. Didn't really enjoy it, I felt it was way over the top compared to the old shows.

Watched it. Really enjoyed it, though it did feel kind of like they were parading every popular character from the entire series in for that one last hurrah . . .

Does anybody know if there are going to be more "movies" coming out?

I had originally heard there were going to be a few . . .

I had originally heard there were going to be a few . . .

There were supposed to be 4 one hour long movies, but I think they were supposed to have been canned after the Comedy Central deal. I've heard mixed things on what exactly is going on with that, that they bankrolled a new season of episodes, but I've also heard that was canned as well. I don't know why, but there's just something I don't like about Futurama on Comedy Central, its just not as good as when it was on AdultSwim. Strange, I know. Maybe its the time, as if I'm watching TV at the time they have it on, I'm watching something else.

I only caught about 45 minutes of it, and it was just ok. There were too many songs and most of them were not very good (and sounded like garbled gibberish half the time, like the one with the elves in Santa's workshop). Many of the characters seemed different as well. I'll try seeing the whole thing sometime, but overall it didn't seem up to the level the original shows had.

I know what you mean about the showing on CC...Adult Swim had fewer commercials, plus the comments they showed inbetween the commercial breaks were hip What I REALLY hate is when they show the credits in the lower left corner and you can't read the comments on the opening credits of the next show. I'd also like to see who did the voices on the show sometimes.
