New gaming comp $1500 limit (sort of)

eh, shameful bump.......

Just a repeat of my last questions:

Newcastle = bad?

Chumbo = reliable?

The newcastle is not really bad, but the Winchester is 90nm vs. Newcastles 130nm. The Winchesters runa bit cooler so they are better for overclocking. They also perform slightly better. You can read the article in the CPU's section when they overclocked there 3000 and 3200 to 2.6GHz.

If I'm not overclocking, and I just want it to perform well at gaming for a while, will the Newcastle be ok?

EDIT: A while = I can keep it longer than my ram/hd/vid card hopefully
